After 25 years of serving it’s community, local racetrack Irwindale Speedway and Dragstrip announced it would be closing it’s doors at the end of the year. Nitro Revival, a reunion for racers from the past and an event for fans to take a step back in time to a different era of drag racing, was held for the final time at the famed southern California track. Irwindale Dragstrip will be remembered fondly by the Force family as it was a track where John and Laurie Force’s grandchildren raced often.
