BROWNSBURG, Ind. (Oct. 29, 2025) – Three-time and defending NHRA Nevada Nationals Top Fuel winner Brittany Force and her Dave Grubnic/John Collins-led team will attempt to add one more Wally to her trophy case when she pilots the John Force Racing Chevrolet Accessories Top Fuel Dragster during the Oct. 31-Nov. 2 race weekend at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the penultimate race of the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.

In addition to last year’s win, the two-time NHRA Top Fuel Champion (2017, 2022) has earned Nevada Nationals victories in 2019 and 2022. The 2024 win was made even more poignant by the fact that it was the first race her father, 16-time NHRA Funny Car Champion John Force, had returned to the track after his major accident in June while competing at the NHRA Virginia Nationals. Her John Force Racing teammate Austin Prock won the Funny Car category, as well.

She has earned three Nevada Nationals No. 1 Qualifier spots (2021, 2022, 2024) and won the Four-Wide Nationals at The Strip in April 2022.

Force is currently fifth in the 2025 NHR Mission Foods Top Fuel point standings after 18 of 20 races. The Top 10 are: 1. Doug Kalitta (2525) Doug Kalitta; 2. Justin Ashley (-141); 3. Shawn Langdon (-159); 4. Steve Torrence (-228); 5. Brittany Force (-234); 6. Tony Stewart (-236); 7. Clay Millican (-246); 8. Shawn Reed (-270); 9. Antron Brown (-283); 10. Josh Hart (-373).

Notes

  • Force announced in September at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, Pa., that she will be stepping out the driver’s seat at the end of the season to focus on starting a family with her husband Bobby Lyons.
  • Force is The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway record holder for both elapsed time (3.652 seconds on Nov. 3, 2019) and speed (338.17 mph on Nov. 1, 2019).
  • Force also earned three NHRA Top Fuel event victories at the now-defunct Houston Raceway Park (2018, 2019, 2022).

Quotes

What is it about Las Vegas that has made you so successful there?

Las Vegas is a racetrack we compete at twice a year, spring and fall. It’s also a track we get to spend a day testing. With the extra runs compared to other tracks we’ve collected quite a bit of data to pull from. It has become a very familiar track for our team. It’s also a race track we’ve collected multiple wins. The track is one of the best ones on our circuit and if weather conditions cooperate, we have a great shot at laying down some strong passes.

How does being the Las Vegas defending champion play into your mental preparation and approach to the weekend?

Returning to a racetrack where we previously won always gives myself and the team and extra boost of confidence. Last year’s win was a significant one, it’s one that stands out to me. It was our first win in 2 years to the day, to the track. It was my first double up with my teammate Austin Prock. And it was my dad’s return to a racetrack after his wreck.

I have so many great memories from that racetrack last year it makes it easy when finding confidence to pull from.

Are there any special places/restaurants//shows/etc. you like to go to during the Las Vegas race weekend?

Las Vegas is a track I always make time to come in early and enjoy the strip. I’ve been to multiple Britney Spears concerts, and a couple Cirque Du Soleil shows. I’m hoping I can squeeze something fun in this time around.

Do you do any gambling while you’re there and, if so, what do you like to play and why?

I’m not a big gambler but, if I do play, it’s always roulette. I only play my same numbers and usually a little luck comes my way!
