AUSTIN PROCK AND MONTANA BRAND / RMT CONTINUE LATE SEASON SURGE HEADING TO NHRA NEVADA NATIONALS

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 27, 2022) – Austin Prock and the Montana Brand / Rocky Mountain Twist Chevrolet dragster head to the NHRA Nevada Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the second-to-last event on the NHRA Camping World schedule, looking to put an exclamation point at the end of their 2022 season.

After struggling in mid-season, Prock, the 2019 NHRA Rookie of the Year, has turned his season around in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship, driving his Montana Brand/Rocky Mountain Twist entry to a compelling victory in Reading, Pennsylvania and to a runner-up finish in the most recent tour event in Dallas.

“I’m looking forward to Vegas. John Force Racing has had success there in the past so, as a team, we’re looking for more of that all the way around,” Prock said. “This Montana Brand / Rocky Mountain Twist dragster is on good pace right now, and this team is hoping that continues into this weekend. We want to keep moving up the points standings.”

Prock is making just his fourth overall appearance at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and his second at the NHRA Nevada Nationals. In 2019, Prock was the No. 10 qualifier and came up short to teammate Brittany Force in the second round.

Competition at the NHRA Nevada Nationals, the second to last event on the NRHA Camping World Drag Racing Series season, begins with qualifying Friday at 1:00 and 4:15 p.m. and Saturday at 12:30 and 4:00 p.m. Eliminations are slated to begin Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Television coverage of the event will be on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) on Sunday beginning with qualifying at 2:00 p.m. ET and eliminations at 4 p.m. ET
