FOR THE RECORD:

  • DeJoria became the first female to compete in 100 Funny Car events, at the 2016 NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, Calif.
  • DeJoria was the first woman to break the three-second barrier when she posted a 3.997 E.T. at the 2014 Winternationals in Pomona, Calif.
  • DeJoria is currently the only female competing in the NHRA Funny Car category with the goal of becoming the first female to earn the Funny Car World Championship.

 

DID YOU KNOW:

DeJoria earned the first round-win of her nitro Funny Car career when she defeated John Force in the first round of the 2012 Gatornationals. 

DeJoria captured her first Funny Car event victory at the 2014 Arizona Nationals in Phoenix and beat John Force again later that year in the final round of the U.S. Nationals for the biggest win of her career.

Bobby started racing in 2008 with Jim Head. After 6 seasons he moved to Indiana and started at JFR where he worked on John’s car for a year and Robert’s for two. He decided to go race A-Fuel racing with his girlfriend Krista Baldwin, but after a year away decided to come back. In his spare time he likes working on Krista’s A-Fuel dragster and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoys reloading ammunition, shooting guns and building things with his hands.

His first introduction to drag racing came from his grandfather who was always watching the races on Sunday. He was a John Force fan up until the day he passed away. From there, Corey would go to Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green and watch the Super Comp cars and a few Division 3 NHRA races. His first national event came in 2017 and he fell in love with the sport even more.

Eric got his start in drag racing shortly after he got out of the Navy and worked on dirt modified cars for a few years while working evenings as a Diesel mechanic at the Kenworth shop in town. He met a guy who helped get him hired in drag racing doing the Mopar Performance tech trailer at the races which led into working with John Force and the team. He moved into the Castrol midway trailer in 2006 and then eventually moved to JFR Race Support. His hobbies include desert racing his dirt bike and driving his pro street car.
