Zionsville, Indiana (June 5, 2025) – The Graham and Courtney Rahal Foundation (GCRF) and Graham Rahal Performance (GRP) are thrilled to partner with John Force Racing (JFR) on a new philanthropic initiative for the remainder of the 2025 National Hot Rod Association Season (NHRA): Task Force Rahal.
Task Force Rahal funding will support the Optimal BrainHealth for Warfighters program offered by Center for BrainHealth at UT Dallas, which provides active-duty military, families and veterans with essential brain health tools, helping those affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress (PTS) and similar issues, as well as building resilience ahead of deployment.
“We’re honored to be able to join forces with JFR to support the Center for BrainHealth for the rest of the NHRA season. Brain injuries change lives – I’ve seen it firsthand,” said Graham Rahal, President of GRP and founder of GCRF. “I’m grateful we can use Task Force Rahal to help those on the same journey and ultimately give back to a community that has already given us so much.”
Optimal BrainHealth for Warfighters incorporates leading-edge brain health science, performance metrics, and strategy training as well as emerging technologies like heart rate variability (HRV) and sleep monitoring/fitness assessments, giving participants continual access to tools and habit reinforcement. Advanced technologies, such as functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), electroencephalogram (EEG), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), may also be provided to monitor improvements or declines in brain fitness over time.
“Having trained more than 6,000 service members and veterans over the past 15 years, we know that the combination of holistic measurement and strategy-based training works,” said Jennifer Zientz, Director of Programs at Center for BrainHealth. “We are deeply grateful for the funding that will enable us to continue scaling up this important work.”
The initiative will prioritize hiring veterans from diverse branches to enable broader in-person training and outreach. Funds will also be used to research and develop technological tools that can be utilized to advance cognitive performance of both active-duty and veteran service members. Lastly, funds will support the program’s growing partnership with Virginia High Performance, combining efforts to provide world-class in-person high performance training curriculum to active duty, veterans, first responders, and everyday Americans across the country.
“I’ve watched Graham over the years, and he has always been one to try and help others. This whole concept that he’s involved in is to make things bigger and stronger. That’s the direction he’s headed, and we’ll be a part of that by promoting Task Force Rahal on our racecars. It is exciting that fans and sponsors can donate too!” said John Force, Founder of John Force Racing.
